Step-by-Step Process Description
A detailed walkthrough of each stage in the credit dossier lifecycle, from the moment a client accepts a simulation to the final trigger sent to Basikon Core.
Client Simulation Acceptance
The client receives a credit simulation from Basikon Core and formally accepts the proposed terms through the portal. This acceptance event creates a new credit dossier record and initiates the document collection phase.
Document Upload in Client Portal
The client logs into the secure client portal and uploads all required supporting documents, including identity proof, income statements, and property documents. Each file is stored securely and immediately queued for automated OCR processing by the system.
Automated OCR Analysis
The Basikon portal's OCR engine automatically scans each uploaded document to extract structured financial data fields such as income figures, dates, names, and reference numbers. The extracted data is attached to the dossier record and made available for credit manager inspection in the back-office.
Completeness & Validity Checks
The system cross-references the uploaded document set against the mandatory checklist defined for the dossier's credit product type, flagging any missing, expired, or unreadable items. Documents that fail automated validity thresholds are marked with a warning status to guide the credit manager's review.
Credit Manager Review in Back-Office
The assigned credit manager opens the back-office interface to conduct a thorough review of all OCR-extracted fields, document images, and automated check results for dossier D-2025-0084. The manager annotates findings, updates individual document statuses, and prepares a formal credit assessment before issuing a decision.
Additional Request / Validation / Rejection
Following the review, the credit manager selects one of three decision paths: issue a complementary document request to the client (returning the workflow to Step 2), formally validate the dossier for Basikon Core submission, or reject the dossier with a documented rationale communicated to the client. Each decision is recorded in the full audit trail.
Trigger to Basikon Core
Upon successful validation by the credit manager, the system automatically dispatches the finalized dossier payload to Basikon Core via the configured API integration, initiating contract generation and disbursement workflows. This terminal step closes the portal workflow and updates the dossier status to Submitted, with a full audit log entry recorded for compliance purposes.
